General

We are a small team — and we wouldn't have it any other way. The sloow market is a curated marketplace, not a fast logistics operation. Every order is packed with care, and our timelines reflect the way we work: slowly, and with intention.
We are a European independent brand based in Torres Vedras, Portugal.

Shipping Policy

The sloow market brings together multiple independent makers and brands. Whenever possible, your order ships directly from the maker — which is more sustainable than routing everything through a central location first.

Depending on what you order, your parcel may arrive in two or more boxes, on separate days. When that happens, you'll receive a tracking number for each individual shipment.

We choose our shipping partners based on delivery reliability, cost, and — where possible — sustainability. For most orders we use CTT — Correios de Portugal and DPD. For destinations outside Europe, the carrier is selected according to the best available option for your country.

Shipping rates and delivery times

We usually process orders within 2–3 working days of payment confirmation. Because we work mostly with small-batch and made-to-order brands, it may occasionally take a little longer — everything is handmade, and that takes the time it takes.

Orders placed after 3 PM (Mon–Fri) will be processed on the next working day.

All delivery estimates are counted from the dispatch date, not the order date.

Please note: orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties and import taxes on arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping cost.

Tracking your order

You'll receive an automatic email with your tracking number as soon as your order leaves. Allow a few hours before checking — it may not appear in the system straight away. If your order ships in multiple parcels, you'll receive a separate tracking number for each one.
